One of the most challenging parts of starting a YouTube channel  is coming up with a compelling and memorable way to tell your story. Time and time again, we’ve noticed that the most successful channels are the ones that have created a simple, repeatable format for their videos and social posts. If you find an accessible and replicable concept that plays well with your viewers, run with it! You, my creative friend, have the beginnings of a formula.

Dropping iPads off of a roof while wrapped in different goofy products, testing iPhone’s ability to withstand fireworks, the list goes on and on. There are an infinite number of videos they could make from that concept, while simultaneously having a different hypothesis played out in each.

The biggest tip we can give you is don’t be afraid to experiment. Try out different concepts and see how they play with your audience. There are lots of ways to tell if your formula is working. You can easily analyze the engagement on your videos and see what is performing best. Which ones have the most views and start the best conversations? Epoxy is a helpful tool for sorting your videos by views and sifting your comments section for valuable feedback.

Most importantly, you’ll want to settle on a channel theme that is sustainable and authentic to you. Your viewers will be able to see if the content you’re making makes you happy!
